Tribute to Outgoing NJCA Board Member Diana Enzi

Diana Enzi, a dedicated and highly respected member of the NJCA Board, has announced that she is stepping down from her role at the end of this year. Her commitment to education for all young people and encouraging them to succeed in the workforce has made a great impact on many students’ lives – often changing their course toward both personal and professional success.

Ms. Enzi has served as an active member of the NJCA Board since 2016 – promoting Job Corps policies in the federal government, meeting with Trump Administration officials to push forward Job Corps and NJCA priorities, and encouraging direct and consistent engagement with Capitol Hill. A skilled advocate, she has championed new ideas to better serve students at Job Corps centers nationwide and focus on improving the program to ultimately benefit the students we serve.

A long-time supporter of job training and apprenticeship policies, Ms. Enzi served six years on the Wyoming State Council on Vocational Education, including one term as its chairman. She also served on the National Apprenticeship Advisory Committee and was chosen by former DOL Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao to serve for two years on the Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship (ACA). During that time, she helped advise the Secretary on matters concerning policy and legislation affecting apprenticeship, on preparing the American workforce for sustained employment, and on measures that foster safe, healthy, and fair workplaces.

NJCA is exceedingly grateful to Ms. Enzi for her commitment to NJCA, the Job Corps program and its students and graduates.  We will miss Ms. Enzi’s exemplary leadership and advocacy efforts and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
